This statement explains how Solenis collects, uses, and protects information in ClearCare+, the cloud water analysis platform, and in the water-test results we send to pool and spa owners by text message and email. It supplements the Solenis Privacy Statement, which continues to govern our general data practices, and should be read with the ClearCare+ Terms & Conditions.
This statement covers two groups. The first is the pool and spa retailers ("stores") and their staff who use ClearCare+ to record water tests. The second is the pool and spa owners who receive their water-test results from a store through ClearCare, including through the ClearCare Water Test Results text message program.
We collect only what we need to run the service and deliver your results:
We do not collect pool owners' contact details through a website form. They are entered at the store when the water is tested.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number and your consent to be texted are used solely to operate the communications described here.
We share information with service providers only so they can help us run the service and deliver these messages, and only for that purpose. That includes Twilio, which delivers our text messages, and our email delivery provider, which delivers our emails. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us. We also share your test results with the participating store that performed your water test, since that store is the business serving you. We may disclose information where required by law.
We keep contact information and test results for as long as needed to provide the service and to maintain the store's records, and as long as required by law. If you opt out, we keep a record of that opt-out so we continue to honor it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. The link in each text opens a private web address that is unique and not guessable, and the page shows only your water-test results. No password is required so that the page opens directly on your phone.
ClearCare+ and our communications are intended for adults (18 and over) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
